Spring at Golden Gate Park and below, photos from our first trip together outside California since the pandemic, also the first time I've seen his hometown during fall. I finally got to witness the spectacular turning of the leaves in the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. I've always imagined that autumn leaves last for an entire season. No, I was told, they're gone in a week or two. A great reminder to be thankful for what we have, appreciate the moment, and be kinder to one another. We visited Jack's youngest sister who lives out in the woods and enjoyed learning about local artist Frank Wyso, daily hikes, eagles and ospreys in the pond.
